In collaboration with Manchester Museum’s Cultural Venues, award-winning rainwear brand Grass & Air has produced a Limited Edition Collection of ‘Manchester Worker Bee Wellies’ and an umbrella featuring the city’s official worker bee symbol.
The collection will ‘give back’ to the city by way of a donation to the We Love Manchester Charitable Trust for every pair sold.
With a base colour of Yellow or Navy, the Worker Bee collection reflects the fun-loving, urban spirit of Manchester and will be available in infant size 4 up to 12. RRP £18.00 for wellies and £15.00 for umbrellas.
In celebration of the Worker Bee collaboration, Grass & Air fans will love the enhanced welly walk at Wild Whitworth this Easter. Find their wellies hidden around the park and collect all the letters to complete the challenge. The welly walk is completely free and takes in the gorgeous green urban parkland surrounding the museum. Grab a guide at the Parkside Entrance and get posting #iwanttobee for a chance to win a bee umbrella. Plus kids can enjoy a special reward for every completed trail guide.
The Worker Bee Wellies will be on sale in 4 of the Manchester Museum Group’s popular cultural attractions; The Whitworth, Manchester Museum, John Rylands Library and Jodrell Bank from Saturday 6th April. Grass & Air is an award-winning brand of urban, outdoor children’s wellies, accessories and outerwear hailing from Manchester.
